We kid that we built a new house around the dishwasher that my husband bought me as a present. Seriously though, it is THE BEST INVENTION EVER! What a waste of time standing there at the sink wading through all those dishes every night. And what a waste of time arguing and battling with the kids every night to do the dishes or load the dishwasher. Everyone in the house has been "trained" to rinse the dishes and set them aside. Then I load it which takes minutes and then they're done.
I don't go down to the river either and beat the clothes clean on a rock. ;)
