I personally think the quilt is beautiful. I was always taught to be thankful for whatever I received. However, I've been told (not only by adults but also younger people) to give them money so (in their words) they could buy whatever they wanted. I know one person who puts gifts people give her in a yard sale ASAP after she gets it. She no longer gets any more gifts from me!
