If its your first .. I would recommend regular thread in the bobbin. Invisable thread can be a bit tricky.. and it will be easier to trouble shoot tension issues if its only one thread.
A couple of notes:
1 Do a test on scrap fabric using same batting and fabric as will beused in the quilt ... You may have to loosen the top tension... this is the most common issue.
2. I have the best success using a smaller needle 70 or 65.
3. Use a cone holder for the thread so it has ample distance to relax before going through your tension disks.
4. If you do choose to use invisable in the bobbin wind it SLOWELY .. so as not to stretch the thread as it winds onto the bobbin.
5. Do not use the cheap invisable thread that comes on spool ...plastic coated to a card at Jo'Ann's .... it can be nothing but trouble! I thought I was never going to have success till I found using a better invisable thread made ALL the difference.
