I bought all of this Asian fabric at shops along the Oregon Coast. Didn't use a pattern, just tried to use all the fat quarters in one way or the other. The border fabric was shaded beautifully so I had to piece it in order to get the colors located the way I wanted.
Every time I see a display of Asian prints I want some for some as yet undetermined purpose.
