Are you doing hand applique? It is the easiest for me to do the raw edge applique and applique it by hand with a button hole stitch, but I am doing a few with the machine now. I need to practice that a lot more. Keep going with your projects, and you will soon fall in love with applique. It is such a joy to see things coming together.
