I tried a bunch of things, and came up with a rough draft (picture 2). I went on line and downloaded a lot of pictures of tulips and leaves, and came up with something that I am pleased with (picture 3) I plan to have each block different, with different shaped flowers, different arrangement of leaves, about 4-5 different colored backgrounds. And of course, I will hand-applique and embroider embelishments on each block. How do you like my first block?
your MIL version was actually a 50's pattern and was 4 tulips with the stems meeting in the middle! My granny did those..I inherited 4 blocks to finish!
