I have a question, my husband is in the process of doing a room over for me and it looks like you used a regular kitchen cabinet base set of draws under the counter, did he cut it dowm or leave it as it comes? I'm afraid it would be to high to sew comfortably if we just leave it.

He left it the same height because we are going to make comfy stools for in there. And I like the waiste height for doing things at the counter. For example. I can stand at the counter and run the serger and then go to other machines. But We measured the height I would need a stool at to be comfy, and there will be a footrail under there for me to be sitting in good position.
