I spread mine over my bed and spray it with that wrinkle reducer product, then I smooth it out the best I can without stretching the batting. I turn on the ceiling fan and let it stay there until it is dry. Whatever wrinkles stay in the batting have not caused any problems. When I sandwich the layers, I smooth as much as I can and baste well.
