My Mom hung all our clothes outside all year long in Spokane when I was growing up in the 50s. The frozen jeans were so funny! She had these rules to follow when we had to help her. We'd hear it if we didn't follow them!! I only hang out a few items cause my husband doesn't like the stiffness of his undies and we don't have the best weather here for this anyway. (I've used fab softener, shaken them good, but still not soft like from the dryer.)
