I couldn't stand it so I mixed up a little brown fabric paint diluted it tremendously and painted those fabric pieces. It muted it enough that it blended well and I was ok with it. Be sure to iron after it dries to "set" it. In your case I think I'd try orange paint instead of brown. Your quilt is beautiful.
