I remember when the bookmobile came around, leg make-up was used instead of nylon stockings, stockings with seams up the back,first TV with magnifying glass, mens garters to hold dress socks up, flowers (called crepes) hung on doors when there was a death, people being kept at home rather than a funeral parlor when they passed away, and to be well dressed you had to wear a hat a gloves. Men wore felt hats. Favorite saying back then was "children should be seen and not heard". Wow. Times have changed.
