I agree with autumn between those two choices, but I'd prefer a WINTER themed quilt with snow, snow sports, snowmen, mittens, beautiful pine trees with snow on them, snow/animal scenes.
That's cuz I never get around to making one for myself but hope to someday. Then you can use it for Christmas and long after, depending on where you live...for us, that would be Nov. through March at least...
But Christmas stuff--like some mentioned...a lot of Americans have storage bins already "full of Christmas decorations"--besides the fact that some may not want the religious aspect. While most do celebrate Christmas or some variant of it, I believe most people have more Christmas decorations than autumn/fall/Thanksgiving...probably.
