If you're doing a quilt, I think whatever pattern/fabrics you have. If a wall hanging/tablerunner/etc. then I'd go for the autumn. I love the newer fabrics that have more purple and burgundy in the leaves. I do like the reversible idea too... maybe autumn on one side and flowers on the other, so it could be year round.
