I have a deaf Jack Russell Terrier--Little Cindy-Lou Who--who's has been with me since she was 5 weeks old. She is now 8 1/2 years old. She doesn't know she is deaf and most of the time I don't either. Smart as a whip and so loving. She is a joy in my life. I have always been especially careful about not letting her get out except to the fenced yard. Since she cannot hear, the danger of being loose is great.

Two weeks ago I asked for your help in naming my rescued deaf puppy. After some great suggestions I settled on the name of "Rocky" ( he is a fighter)( the dog that is) so far we are doing well with teaching him signs. He follows me everywhere and is eager to please me.
