This would be a great pattern for you - even if it does have points. All you have to do is mark your batting with a line through the length of the material and when you are laying your next piece of material down, have the tip touch the line. It's really easy. I did two without the line and two with the line and the ones with the line worked up quicker since I wasn't checking each time to see if the point would be right. It's easy peasy I tell you what! a friend of mine who is not a quilter by any stretch of imagination is going to be doing this for her bedroom next - modified a little to fit her shallow dressers but if she can do it I know you can do it!
