Does anyone else have trouble with the 5/8" seam after sewing so many 1/4" seams? The 5/8" looks so big to me. I don't sew many garments any more, but when I do I can't sew the 5/8" any more.

Oh yeah .. I know exactly what you are talking about .. Not only do I have a problem now with a 5/8 .. it also seems so huge! I have taken to trimming down a pattern seam allowance prior to cutting.
