I am a person that make quilts to be used. However, I also understand that other people use them for "show" and no matter what - remember what "assume" means. YOU knew you didn't want them used for any reason, and I have learned not to "assume" anybody else knows my thoughts, cause it always bites me in the tush when I do (LOL). On the other side, I agree - HE should be washing and doing the clean up of your lovely quilts.
