Thank you! There are various twisted log cabin variations, with different numbers of logs and sizes and shapes of centre pieces. I've gone for a fairly simple one as the actual blocks are so small. When I produced the Fandango pattern (in my avatar), I provide all the actual Paper Piecing templates you need, already cut to size and numbered with the piecing sequence so I guess I'd do the same if I produced this.

Regarding the fabrics shown in the design, they are Hoffman batiks from the EQ fabric library. The ones I'm actually using were sent to me by a lady in the US as half yard cuts as a gift in return for a favour I did her so I have no idea what line they're from. But you can't go far wrong with Hoffman batiks in my book! :-D
