My complaint about that is that we all are paying such high prices for insurance that it is not fair to have to pay more than the co-pay.
like i said before you souldn't have to pay 2 copays. because its a copay per office visit when i receive payment for the ov and physical and the insurance charges 2 copays - i call the insurance and advise that it should be only one copay for visit. and the insurance sends me the difference not the patient. i hope this helps because many times the insurance processes the claim incorrectly and the patient does not call to verify his/her benefis and pays what was not paid by insurance. also many doctor offices have a coder sending the claims and another person entering the payments and that person does not know that the claim was paid incorrectly. sorry but it happens more than you think.
