Neither my son nor my daughter care anything about quilts. My daughter did get an Asian style wall hanging which she seems to like but she doesn't like the way quilts look on beds--too "homespun" for her. As to my son, he once told me that I could make a quilt for him and his wife if I would do it in a contemporary style, using only solids. I'd just rather not.
My grandson loves my quilts. He will reap the bounty. I've got one in progress for him right now.
