Thanks for the info. So that's our answer. The Strip Tube Ruler is 9 1/2 inches and says it can be used for half-square triangles. The EZ Companion Angle is 5 1/2". The description says for cutting 1/4 square triangles.

I watched the video for using the 9 1/2" square ruler from Missouri Quilt Company and their method, like yours, is pretty nifty! Great info quilters! Thanks so much!
