My VSMG pretty much insists I can drop my feed dogs on my old 66. I don't like the idea of unscrewing them out of place and just taking them out when I want to FMQ.
For those familiar with the Singer 66, is there a feed dog cover or something similar to buy to attempt FMQ on the machine? Since I bought her, I've had glowing reviews about FMQ on the 15's, but I don't have a 15, I have a 66. Since the 66 will be my only vintage machine for a while, I might as well learn how to FMQ on her since it was the reason I purchased her.
Also, if I have to buy a feed dog cover or something, are there boardmembers out there I could contact about the part before resorting to other websites?
