If anyone on this thread is unaware, there is a Michigan Meet up on Aug 3. I am not the one in charge, but I am going to attend. I wanted all the MI ladies to know about it. Here are the details as taken from the Meet up thread.
I just wanted to update everyone on our meet and greet next Weds. We will be meeting at Country Stitches, Weds Aug 3 at 11AM. Please pin a piece of fabric on yourself, so we know you are from the QB. So far, there are 9 of us going. They are myself, Rabs, Grammashed, Marilynsue, Jeank, Burnsk, Glassdriller, 29cathie and Gmaybee. If I've missed someone, I'm sorry, I'm not a good event planner. If anyone else would like to join us, let me know. As always, If you'd like to bring a friend, thats great, the more the merrier. With great thanks to Marilynsue, who found us a lunch spot, we will have a banquet room at the Cafe, which is just down the street from Country Stitches. If you would like to bring your latest project for a show and tell, that would be a fun way to end the day.
I just spoke to Ann from Country Stitches and they will be doing a demo for us at noon. Looking forward to meeting everyone next week.
I called today and secured our reservations for lunch at the Spartan Hall of Fame also on Lake Lansing Road. The gentleman I talked to said that with a group that small (9-12) we may be put in a back corner rather than a room and I said it was okay with me as long as it is okay with the other patrons!
Anyway, I'm confirming my comittment on August 3rd!
