I mentioned making a new quilt for my son, and he said they have too many blankets.
He still uses one I made for him 15 years ago.
It hurt at first, but then I just accepted it.
He does appreciate all the work I put into them, tho.
My Son has carried a quilt I made him in 1994 to college, he went into the Navy and the quilt when on his ship with him, and now it is in the Mashall Islands where he is a seaman on a boat there. We discussed his next quilt I will make for him will have some Navy fabrics and photos from his Navy career.
