I went to an Amish/Mennonite auction in New Holland, PA a few weeks ago and a quilt with this type of butterfly on it went for over $2,000! Most of the quilts there go for $400-800 or so, but there were two people who clearly loved this quilt, because they were back and forth for quite a while. There was a huge round of applause at the end of that one because 100% of the money is going to missions in Haiti.
Are you going to put your butterfly as the center of a quilt or use it in a wall hanging? No matter what you do with it, it is absolutely beautiful! :thumbup:
