I used 3x6 pieces and it is still heavy. There is a third more fabric in that quilt than one the same size normally. I won't be doing many of those. If I do there will be fewer dahlias.

Thanks for the info. I guess I'll stick to the pillows or table toppers with them. I someday may use one just as a center medallion but that day is far away!
