Looked at pics of the Quest Plus on the Babylock site. Looks like there is a place for the cones. If this is your machine, the thread would go up through the opening on the metal rod, then be threaded according to the diagram on top of the machine, if your machine is like my Babylock Ellegante and Babylock Jane. The thread would go through the metal rod opening down to the metal guide nearest the tall metal rod, then through the metal guide on the left, and back over to the bobbin winder.
