We made my sewing "room" in a space by a window and closet. Since I mostly just do small doll quilts, this is perfect for me.. and I do have my stash of a great many fabrics in fat quarters and 1/2 yard pieces mostly.
Besides using the closet and the shelves above my sewing table, I have a 6 drawer dresser full... it isn't in the pictures.
I love my little corner of the house....
