I have the grand quilter. If you don't find the pdf online get in touch and I will send a copy in the mail. I bought my machine used and definitely had to get used to the tension. I fiddled with it for a few months until I had the tension just like I wanted it. I have to say I truly love the machine, although I found that I don't much like quilting in any form... hand, small machine or long arm. I'm a piecer at heart but once in a while I quilt one to save money instead of paying a quilter.
