Karla, Tink was one of the many dogs that got sick from the dog food recall.....We had to get her back up to health. She WON"T eat canned dog food. She eats a meat loaf that I make special for her. 3# ground chuck, 2-3 eggs, little salt, oatmeal, frozen peas or mixed veggies( about
1c.), mix and form into big football shape, roll in some flour. Place in large roaster pan and place 1-2 slices of bacon on top.I remove it after cooking. Bake 2 hours 350 degrees.
I cube it and to get her started, we would eat a cube and them it seemed that it must be OK.
That and cooking a boneless chicken breast in the microwave. the baby food worked also. I had her start by licking it off my fingers. She thinks rye bread and veal baby food is pure heaven.........
