How nice of you to share.

The Allium family is very easy to propagate. My little hillbilly Grandma used to cut off the bottom of every onion or garlic, etc that came into the house when she was cooking. And replanted each one in a new place, and they all came up again. I think that she had direct descendants of starts from her own mother. I'm sorry now that I don't have any of hers now that I've gotten old enough to love their history.
