OH hey, I love the mouse pad idea. I've just made 4 yesterday and 2 last week. I use them and they make great gifts to quilting friends. I'm using test blocks and scraps galore! I've seen them done like for a space for two mugs so you can have your mug and a snack on the same rug-----brilliant!
