Well, for the same price as a nursing home, I can get a berth on a round the world cruise. That's food, entertainment, travel, etc., plus they have a full time doctor on board 24/7. Change ships about every 3-1/2 months.
Read about a widow from NY who lives on board the QE2. Her kids book a vacation every year. Works for them. She said just paying for a decent apartment in NYC would cost that.
