Thank you all for your kind words, I've shared the page with all the people who worked on the quilt. We are all humbled by the praise you have written about the quilt.
We are already steeling ourselves for when the lucky person gets drawn. That is next July at our annual meeting. Of course we have all purchased lots of tickets and hope one of us will win it. My son bought a book of tickets. Said when he wins it will put it up on e-bay. Told him the next day he would be out of the will!!! grin. Of course he would never do it, but he does love to tease. He even said if he wins we can enter it in more shows and I am sure it would live at my house.
I don't think we would ever try to make a pattern as there really wasn't a pattern, the quilt just developed over the months.
