A Hinterberg folding frame for hand quilting off Craig's list. It looks like a Hinterberg Heritage hand frame but it does not have the racheting gears. It is from 2003 so maybe they originally had it without the racheting gears? It is called Hinterberg fold-a-way hand frame. It is big! With the extenders in place it is 8 foot long. DH is finnishing the end brackets. some where I read not to finnish/varnish the poles that the quilt attaches to. Anyone have any thoughts on this or know why?

Can't wait to try it out with some of my children. That is why I wanted a big frame so multiples of our family can quilt together. I plan to have it in my living room. I do need to move some vintage sewing machines and a table to make space.

BIG set up for 8 feet. without extenders it is 5 feet.

It came with this cool little caddy and lamp.
