I made one like this last year. I "remodeled" it this year and covered it with white oilcloth instead of draping it with the clear vinyl as Marguerita does. I just took each section (mine is in three pieces so it fits my table and machine and allows for bobbin access) and wrapped it as if it were a gift package and taped it securely on the bottom with duct tape. Looks nice and the oilcloth is really slick for FMQ.

that was my question, what about machines that don't have drop in bobbins. You just make those pieces on that end removeable?
