I love CT thread, but agree it is linty. However, I use a few drops of Sewer's Aid to the spool and it seems to cut down on the lint as well as making it more slippery. Also, Sewer's Aid keeps CT and other threads from breaking during FM quilting. I love CT colors and always add more to my stash when they are on sale. I haven't tried their polyesters yet. I just bought a couple cones of the red poly. I used it for quilting some lap quilts for donation. I really like it. Very smooth, no breakage, and it has a matte finish and looks like cotton. I will be buying more for sure (maybe that will go on sale next??? A girl can hope, can't she?? LOL).
