Oh how I wish I had the ones that belonged to my husband's Grandmother now ... they became cow blankets first, then later the dog's bed! *gasp* >
In researching crazy quilts before I began sewing mine, I did find some that were done in squares and even some with "cigar silks" and advertising included. Fascinating and a lot of them are in museums now. Sorry about the abuse use!:)
