Hi! My name is Melissa and I have been quilting for about 10 years now. My very first quilt was a baby quilt for my niece. She loved it to death - it now resides at my mom's house with a gigantic hole worn through it, she is holding on to it for her until she is older.

I have always followed other peoples patterns and been a huge purchaser of kits until this past year. I finally decided to branch out and design my own quilts and quilt blocks. I still look to other people for inspiration - but for the most part I am no long following other people's patterns. I am now making my own.

I am so excited to be here in a quilt loving community. My single most favorite thing about the internet is finding communities like this!
