I am so happy for you that your Mother's machine has made it back home to you! I inherited my Mom's 403A. Pretty much like your Mom, mine bought it in 1956 & used it forever & forever. I also used it while I was living at home going to school. A few years ago, upon my Mom's passing, it came home with me. It is the machine I use for all of my sewing. Solid workhorse, running as good as it did 30+ years ago!

Enjoy yours - I hope it lasts you another lifetime.
