In my early 40s I did have some vague symptoms of menopause.

In a visit to my doctor he found a cancerous lump in my boob, so told me to start taking Vitamin E, the real one without the L in it. He said to start with a bottle of very low Vitamin E and after that bottle was empty, get the next strongest, etc. I think the idea was that suddenly taking so much would raise my blood pressure.

But shortly after that I guess the Big M symptoms faded and it never was a bother. It was only some years later that my husband heard some of his friends complaining about their wives' problems and it reminded him that mine never did show up. Whether the E helped or not, whatever reason I wasn't bothered much at all.

(I looked up the spelling.... DL-alpha tocopherol is not the natural one) That L is the one that says Artificial..

And I was kind of a health food nut. Didn't realize how far we'd
gone till my 6 year old son was invited to his friend's home for dinner, and he came home excited about it. Said that after dinner they had a CAKE for desert, and it wasn't even anybody's birthday!!
