Unfortunately it's not any of those. Not sewn in halves either, that part I remember.
It was you make the hexagon with the batting and backing and then you turn it inside out and somehow you leave the one side open so when you join it to the others the open area is joined...or something like that..
I just need to see the tutorial on it cause I'm really stumped on how it really goes together..
