I sold at craft shows for about 10 years. Got out when the economy got bad, people weren't buying. I found that peope were buying practical things for gifts. If she wants to get her name out for future sales, though, it is the correct venue. I got a lot of referrals for items by getting my business card out at the shows. It was alot of fun though, but we had big things and hauling totes full of stuff and getting set up was tough. I was always envious of the crafter that had 3 totes and sold out each time.
