I was born and raised in Higginsville, MO, 40 miles east of Kansas City, went to college in Fayette, MO. Taught school four years in MO then moved to Springville, IL, meet my husband and we went to Fargo, ND for a year (the coldest year of my life). We moved to IA in 1965 and I have been here since. Retired after 30 years of teaching.
I have visited almost every state in the Union. plus Europe and Canada. My favorites are BC, Canada, Hawaii, VA & KY. All the states are beautiful in there own way. My brother lives in Mesa, AZ, so I visit him each year. I certainly enjoy the weather there.
