I have found that on the strip cutters, cutting two layers is best. It tends to go crooked when using more. However on the smaller dies 4 to 6 layers go through easily. I use the 2 1/2" square, 2 1/2" HS triangle, 4" square and 4 1/2 HS triangle and 1 1/2" HS triangle more than anything. I like sewing smaller pieces. I just recently went through my scraps and cut with the Accuquilt. I just did my batiks. Took me over a week. It was a job but well worth it. And if you cut and place it right on the dies, there's very little waste.
