Brands, as I said, are pretty much personal choice. If you are not going to travel, you definitely don't want a motorhome. As for permits, an RV is titled like your car and need to be renewed annually...if you don't move it, though, you probably don't have to renew, especially in TN. I don't know where you are. You WILL need a 30 or 50 amp plug for your electric, a water spigot to hook up your white hose, and a place to drain sewage. Good luck!
