Hello again, everyone. I thought I would post an update to say that the quilt is now finished! Yea, my first one! I made it for my oldest daughter, Meagan, and my wife made me a tag that I hand-sewed onto the back corner of it (see pic below). If I had thought far enough ahead I could have just machine stiched it onto the backing before quilting, but now I know for next time.
Now, I'm getting ready to start a quilt for my youngest daughter, Olivia. Thanks much for all the words of encouragement, they are much appreciated!

WOW! it came out beautiful. You really did a fantastic job with the placement oif the colors. It really got done fast too! I love it.
Don't kick yourself about the lable. Like you said you learned for next time. I think it looks beautiful. Me, I learn with every quilt I do.
Hey, just a note for your and your wife. Someone here told me about the thread called "Who Are You?" It is a great thread but very long. In it you will find pictures of probably most of the people you have spoken with on this forum. I went through the whole thread and really had a nice time seeing everyone and their families.
