DH has done it on mine. I would like for him to do a tutorial some time. Until then, the service manual tells how to take the motor out of the machine. You can get a free service manual on line here: http://parts.singerco.com/IPsvcManuals/306W25.pdf You have to scroll down 125 pages or so but it is there and very helpful. It's for a 401 but it is about the same inside. Maybe Ismacs has something more specific. Then take the motor to a small motor repair shop and have them go over it. When they are done, you follow the service manual instructions to return the motor. It is pretty easy.
