Oh man, this post is just too much for me. I sympathize with you and your problem, but all the math I've been reading just makes me sick! Literally! Quite frankly I am totally amazed over how quilt designers come up with their designs which I know are based on math, but I prefer to not think about it much. Math is the only part of quilting that I can't stand. I never, but never plan out a design on my own but always need a pattern that tells me how much to buy of this and of that and where to put it - here or there and how big the blocks will be and how big the quilt will be. My poor senior brain is not geared to figure things out like this. In fact it was NEVER geared for this stuff :lol:
