I bought some iron on vinyl, used it on this cotton material and help my new sewing buddy make this drawstring backpack for her first day of school on Thursday. I wanted it to be somewhat waterproof and I saw it done at the local quilt shop I went to the other day and they sold the pattern to me for $1.75!!! It really does go together very very easy, the most difficult thing was keeping the seams from sliding when sewing, so you have to pin pin pin. But if you were not to add the vinyl it would go together in a jif. I see many more of these in my future as gifts......

Sorry the pictures are not that great.....
